Today is Jesy Nelson’s 25th birthday! Reigning from the U.K.’s best selling girl group this decade (Little Mix), Nelson has had quite the journey and quite the transformation. Emerging into a global pop star with her three fellow bandmates, this inspiring woman proves indefinitely that you are unique and should never let anyone take away your right to happiness.
She has continually inspired her fans to be confident within themselves. Her stance on the effects of bullying was brave and encouraging.
“When I was younger I got bullied about the way I looked and I thought once I was older it would stop. I hated going to school, but didn’t know who to talk to about it. It knocked my confidence a lot.”

Jesy Nelson has shown how dedicated she is to Little Mix and her going on stage (despite getting a torn ligament during a portion of the Get Weird tour) proves how much love she has for her 3 best friends and for the group in general. She’s always dispelled rumors that the group are on the brink of breaking up and that they’ll be taking a hiatus.
Time and time again, her kindheartedness and inspiring ways have been felt by many, including her bandmates. On the verge of crying during a ‘Love Me Like You’ game on Sugarscape , Leigh-Anne speaks on Jesy saying:
