Actress Liv Tyler first became a mother 11-years ago when she and musician Royston Langdon had a son (Milo) together. Last year, she gave birth to her second son, Sailor, who she had with her fiancé Dave Gardner. Using social media yesterday to make the big reveal, the daughter of Aerosmith’s lead singer and her partner, who she began dating in Summer 2014, announced that not only 11-months since Sailor was born, they were expecting their second baby together – which will be the Armageddon star’s third child.
In amongst posting family holiday snaps on their respective Instagram accounts, the pair have uploaded two photos (see below) of the pregnant beauty on the beach as a means of informing their combined following of 895k of their wonderful news.
It is evident from the engaged couple’s posts that they are incredibly happy to be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet once again – with the expectant Liv literally glowing in the pics shared, as she admits to being “So grateful” for her “growing family” and expresses her love for her soon-to-be husband. The sports agent and pal of David Beckham has also used the social media website to show his excitement and appreciation for the movie star carrying his baby.
Late last night, Liv’s father Steven Tyler sent his congratulations when quoting her announcement tweet and including the hashtag #PROUDPAPA to demonstrate how happy he is for his daughter.

Liv’s mother, singer Bebe Buell, has also tweeted a congrats, admitting that she and her husband are “over the moon [with] glee” before sharing with her following a snap of herself nearly eight months pregnant with Liv.

Gardner has previously had a son, Grey (aged eight), with his socialite ex-wife Davinia Taylor. Could their new baby be their first girl? Or will the Liv and her beau continue the boy-only pattern by being blessed with another son?
