After releasing his debut novel, Supermarket, famous rapper Logic has been awarded the number one spot on the New York Times Paperbook Fiction Best Sellers list. This achievement marks the first time that a rapper that has written a fictional best seller.
Supermarket took the number one spot for this list on April 13, 2019, and has reportedly been number one on Amazon and Barnes & Noble since its release date in late March. The novel is being called a “smash hit” and has now made history.
The book revolves around its protagonist, Flynn, who is going through some personal issues in his twenties and ends up getting a job at a supermarket. He meets a co-worker named Frank and things suddenly take a turn for the worst. It has been described as addicting and interesting from start to finish.
In addition to his debut novel, Logic also released a soundtrack to accompany it. Fans were of course beyond excited to receive all of this new content from the rapper and are still talking about it on social media.
On top of the release of Supermarket and its soundtrack album, Logic has revealed that he is already working on his next album titled Confessions of a Dark Mind.
