Free Radio Breakfast has announced today that Louis Tomlinson has been added as the final performer for the Free Radio Hits Live event happening on May 4th, 2019. Tickets can be purchased here.
Free Radio Breakfast’s Ben Hanlin expressed his excitement about Tomlinson’s addition. On today’s morning show, he said, “We’re really grateful that Louis Tomlinson will be joining us at Free Radio Hits Live. He’s had two solo UK top 10 hits, over 1 billion streams worldwide, he has more than 60 million followers on social media and was in one of the biggest bands in the world.”
“The final name added to our line-up for Free Radio Hits Live. There’ll be Louis, us and 15,000 others watching an incredible line up playing all the biggest hits live in Birmingham this Spring,” he continued.
The 27-year-old pop singer joins the incredible lineup of Ellie Goulding, James Arthur, Zara Larsson, The Vamps, Mabel, Tom Walker, Lewis Capaldi, and HRVY, all announced last week.
Neither Free Radio nor Louis Tomlinson has released any details for the upcoming live performance, but since the singer recently released “Two of Us,” we can guess that he might perform it! At the time of its release, the song went #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
The exciting news comes just a day after the Billboard Music Awards announced Louis Tomlinson as a nominee for Top Social Artist, competing alongside BTS, EXO, GOT7, and Ariana Grande. Top Social Artist is a fan-voted category, meaning fans need to use certain hashtags in order to secure a win for their favorite artist on social media. The BBMAs has yet to announce the official hashtags for any artist.
