Since the boys of One Direction launched their solo careers, it’s been almost impossible to keep up with everything they’ve been doing. From movie premieres to single releases, killer music videos and summer radio shows, interviews, and guest spots; they’re staying busy and so are we.
So here at CelebMix, we’re going to look at each month in review for our favorite boys, check out some highlights, some of our favorite moments, and hopefully, chat with you about some of yours.
July was a pretty good month for Louis. He released his second solo single ‘Back To You’ featuring Bebe Rexha. Not only did the song became an instant favorite, the video did too. Louis and Bebe shot the video in Louis’ hometown of Doncaster, which was a special moment for both Louis and the fans.
The video for ‘Back To You’ racked up the views having 13.8 million in just the first week. On the Billboard + Twitter chart, the single came in at No 1.
Louis also went around to do some promotion for his new hit single, speaking to ODE about how important it was for him to shoot the video in his hometown. He had some fun on his promo run, sitting down with Capital FM to hear his old tweets sang by a Mariachi band-which is absolutely brilliant. Louis also stopped by Radio 1 to chat with Grimmy about ‘Back To You’ where he debuted the single and played the trumpet on-air. You can watch his chat with Grimmy here.
It was announced on Thursday (July 27th) that Louis and Bebe will be performing ‘Back To You’ live at the Teen Choice awards. This will be the first time the duo perform the song live, and we know they will absolutely smash it.
