With just over a month to go until the release of her new Greatest Hits album celebrating 30 years in music, Louise reveals details of her latest single “High Hopes”.
Set to drop Thursday, April 27th via Tag 8/ BMG, the new track serves as the second original song to be lifted from the collection, following the release of “Super Magic” late last year.
Writing to fans on social media, the Eternal star said of the song: “Get ready to sing this one out loud!!! My new single ‘High Hopes’ is out next week!!! Thank you everyone for the continued support over the last 30 years! Love Lou xxx”
As well as including all of Louise’s solo singles, four new tracks and reimagined classics from her time with Eternal – all of which are produced by legendary songwriter and music producer Steve Anderson (Steps, Kylie Minogue, Westlife) – the forthcoming career retrospective will also feature an extra special cover version of Janet Jackson’s 1997 hit single “Together Again”.
To celebrate the release of the album, the “Stretch” singer will play a one-off “Audience with…” style show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on Thursday, June 1st 2023.
“I wanted to do something extra special for you all as I’ve seen so many of you asking for a Greatest Hits show since I announced the album, so I’ve decided to make this YOUR show!” Louise said of the upcoming gig. “I want to know which tracks you’d like me to perform! Anything from the last 30 years; from Eternal, solo tracks, album tracks, B-sides to covers, your input is very important to make this an extra special show! I’ll also be asking you to submit your questions for a Q&A during the show AND I’ll be joined by some VERY special guests on the night!”
