Louise Pentland has given birth to her second child, a girl named Pearl Jane.
The YouTuber, who used to be known as SprinkleOfGlitter, took to Instagram this morning to reveal that Pearl was born yesterday. Sharing a picture of her kissing her daughter’s head, Louise said: “One minute you’re minding you’re own business being 42 weeks pregnant and the next, you’re delivering the most beautiful Pearl, at home, in the birthing pool with a wonderful team and so much love.”
“My lovely Pearl was born yesterday morning (sorry for throwing you all off the scent, we wanted a day of shhh) and is perfect. Going to take some time to soak her up but will share lots of details soon. In short though- I’m so happy. Big loves from all of us.”
Later on in the day, Louise shared a picture of her taking Pearl on her first outing. She also took the time to thank everyone for their lovely messages.
Pearl is Louise’s second daughter, following six-year-old Darcy Jane. Louise announced that she was pregnant again back in June, and has since been keeping fans updated on her progress.
Ahead of Pearl’s arrival, Louise shared gender and name reveal videos on YouTube. The name reveal video involved Darcy putting baubles on a Christmas tree. The baubles featured Darcy’s name and the names of their pets, before a bauble with ‘Pearl’ appeared. The video ended with “Your sister can’t wait to meet you, Pearl Jane Pentland.”
