As she continues to generate buzz in the run up to the release of her brand new album ‘Confessions’, enduring British pop goddess Louise shares the LP’s latest single ‘Borderline’.
Written by legendary songwriter Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue, ctrl, Rita Ora), along with Tre Jean-Marie (Little Mix, Mabel, Olivia Dean) and Georgia Ku (Dua Lipa, Fifth Harmony, Jennifer Lopez), the sophisticated dance / pop track finds the ‘Arms Around The World’ singer at an emotional crossroads, as she contemplates both the current status, and possible future of a fledgling relationship.
Serving as the official follow up to the records lead single ‘Confession’ – which to date has amassed over 116,200 streams on Spotify alone – the brooding vibe of ‘Borderline’ arrives just weeks after Lou teased another of the songs set to feature on the record ‘Love Me More’ – an anthemic celebration of self-love that showcases her continued evolution in the pop genre, by blending emotive lyrics with contemporary production.

Scheduled to drop Friday, May 23rd 2025, Louise’s highly anticipated 5th studio ‘Confessions’ sees the Eternal star hit the dance floor with a confident collection of euphoric pop dance anthems.
Having worked a variety of A list collaborators on the project, including Jon Shave (Charli XCX), Anya Jones (Benjamin Ingrosso, Kylie Minogue), Karen Poole (Becky Hill), Tre Jean-Marie (Perrie, Mabel), MNEK (Madonna), Miranda Cooper (Girls Aloud) and Hannah Robinson (Rachel Stevens), the project looks set to feature some of the most daring, and innovative material of the singers career thus far!
Speaking ahead of the LP’s release, Lou says: “This album just happened. It had that momentum and I’ve worked with such great people. I’d have a pinch-me moment some days when I was in the studio, working with such great songwriters and producers, it’s been a dream team.”
“The album is quite personal and I didn’t hold back. It’s something I’m not known for as I can be quite guarded. But here, I’ve brought the sassy part of Louise. It’s a good time for women to be coming out with music.”
