José Antonio Bastón popped the question back in December in Dubai, asking Eva Jacqueline Longoria to spend eternity by his side. The under-the-radar couple made it official today in Valle de Bravo, on 22nd May 2016. The pair has been dating since 2013, about two years after the actress split with basketball player Tony Parker.
Eva and José have always kept their relationship out of the public eye, and the reason for that is that, by Eva’s claims, José is a private person. This didn’t stop the two from spending time together by appearing on events with each other, and Eva even met his three kids.
The news of the wedding surfaced after the Facebook page of Al Rojo Vivo, a Telemundo news site, shared pictures of the private ceremony. In the pictures, you can clearly see Eva in a stunning sleeveless wedding dress smiling next to her new husband José, who is wearing a dashing grey suit and black tie combination. While we can’t say who designed the outfits, rumours claim that José’s suit is a three-piece by Italian designer Brunello Cucinelli, while Eva’s dress was designed by a close friend, Victoria Beckham. Victoria attended the wedding with her husband David, but the pair weren’t the only famous faces in the crowd. Apparently Ricky Martin, Penelope Cruz, Mario Lopez, Melanie Griffith, and Katy Perry also made an appearance, according to People.com. An insider for the site said, “They married on an altar under lots of little lights. It was very romantic. Eva wore her hair down and smiled during the whole ceremony. He was in a gray suit.”
Another source claims that the couple spent the day hanging out by the pool with the Beckhams and Ricky Martin: “Eva just looked so happy. She didn’t seem the least stressed about her wedding. You could tell that she very much she enjoyed celebrating her special day with friends.”
