The Danish band Lukas Graham just released the music video for their newest single 7 Years.
7 Years is a song from the band’s sophomore album Lukas Graham (Blue Album) and it was written by their lead singer Lukas Graham Forchhammer alongside Morten Ristorp and Stefan Forrest. In the song they reflect on growing older. They sing about past experiences and expectations for the future. The new music video takes place in Christiania, Copenhagen and Los Angeles. It’s directed by René Sascha Johannsen and produced by The Woerks.
Lukas Graham recently performed 7 Years on the American talk show Conan. Their performance was well-received by the viewers and has also been nominated for Favorite Musical Performance of 2015 by the producers of the talk show. As of now, they are in the lead with 98.92%, which will surely guarantee them a win.
The band has had a lot of success in their home country Denmark, and the rest of Europe, with sold out tours and several awards. It looks like they are heading in that direction in the rest of the word as well. 7 Years is the band’s most known song in the United States and has been on charts such as Spotify’s Viral Hits playlist, Viral 50 chart and Billboard + Twitter’s Emerging Artists chart.
