Maddie and Tae Premiere New Song During Grand Ole Opry Performance

US country music duo Maddie and Tae are currently gearing up for the release of their sophomore album which is due for release later this year and follows the release of their hit debut LP ‘Start Here‘ which dropped back in 2015. The album was a massive success in America reaching number 7 on the US Billboard 200 chart and number 2 on the US Top Country Album chart. While it gained big success in the UK reaching number 3 on the UK Country Albums chart.

Cementing their UK success, late last year the US pair met up with the record breaking UK country duo Ward Thomas, with the two acts covering each others songs. The sessions were published on YouTube to rave reviews. During the cover sessions Maddie and Tae covered Ward Thomas’ hit singles ‘Carry You Home‘ and ‘Guilty Flowers‘, while Ward Thomas covered Maddie and Tae’s hits ‘Girl In A Country Song‘, and ‘Fly‘.

Now fans of the US duo are patiently waiting for their new record to drop. But while their supporters may have a little while to wait for the LP to be released Maddie and Tae have given them a taste of what’s to come by premiering a brand new song titled ‘Somebody Will’ during their stellar set at the prestigious Grand Ole Opry last week.

The new track keeps in line with Maddie and Tae’s familiar country/western style and will no doubt delight their fans around the world.

Unfortunately a clip of the performance is no longer available to view but it shouldn’t be long until the girls officially release the song.
