Mark Ambuter recently dropped a new single, called “Love Is Everywhere.” The track was produced by Stuart Epps, who has worked with John Lennon, Bad Company, Elton John, and Led Zeppelin.
Ambuter’s prior singles, like “You Make Everything Alright” and “When It’s Right Now With You,” have made international waves, receiving more than 550,000 streams, and hitting NIM.com’s number 1 spot. Right now, “Love Is Everywhere” is the most requested track on Bearradio.net, where it resided in the Top Ten for a protracted period of time.
Based in So-Cal, back in 2010 Ambuter was in a dark place, having suffered the loss of the love of his life. Listening to his older music to distract himself from heartache, he finally posted some of the songs to ReverbNation. The songs took off, hitting the Top Ten.
According to Ambuter, “‘Love is Everywhere’ started as an older song with a different title. The version everyone is hearing incorporates elements from my original track with new material from me and Stuart’s impeccable production. The world can be an ugly place, but I’m saying if you’ve got friends and look beyond your circumstances you will see love around you and a reason to carry on.”
The track opens on a shimmering sitar accompanied by a gorgeously evocative flute. As the sing-along pop-flavored tune takes off, it delivers a tender, silky sound riding a back-and-forth rhythm, supple and infectious. Rolling drum fills infuse the tune with a sporadic beat both declarative and relentlessly irresistible.
Ambuter’s warm tones conjure up optimistic textures, as velvety background harmonies provide a radiant glow of dulcet sonority.
The lyrics speak to Ambuter’s belief that perspective is everything and that indeed “love is everywhere.”
“All is Beautiful / And love is everywhere / And friends can be found / So we go on…”
Mark Ambuter really delivers on “Love Is Everywhere.” The feel, mood, and flow of the music, as well as the vocals, are scrumptious.
