Marshmello is back with his epic new single ‘Tongue Tied’, which sees him team up with YUNGBLUD and blackbear.
Receiving its debut with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, the track is a powerful collaboration which emphasises not being able to speak your mind without being judged or ostracised.
I feel my life’s been so tongue-tied
I’m trapped outside, inside my mind
If you feel like that you’re tongue-tied
Then we’re tongue-tied together
The track’s accompanying visual has also been released and it stars Emmy nominee Joey King, best known for her roles in The Act and The Kissing Booth. Directed by Christian Breslauer, the short film was shot in Los Angeles and transports us to a dystopian reality where a militarized police force, dubbed Silencers, takes any means necessary to mute the outspoken members of society.

The track is the latest in a line of long line of collaborations for Marshmello, who has previously worked with the likes of Bastille, Anne-Marie, Selena Gomez, Khalid and more.
It’s also the latest collaboration for YUNGBLUD, who has released songs with the likes of Halsey, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, and Dan Reynolds this year, in addition to his EP the underrated youth.
