Troye Sivan is hot property at the moment, making his emotive songs popular cover choices amongst fellow singers across the world.
Singers Matt DeFreitas and Joe Conaboy recently teamed up for a gorgeous cover of Troye’s song ‘Youth’. Matt is a talented singer-songwriter who is always posting amazing covers online, as well as being one third of the band Cahoots. Joe is also a fantastic singer-songwriter, and following his incredible headline gig at the end of last year (which also featured Matt as a support act), it’s great to hear his vocals once again.
This is a fantastic vocal pairing with a brilliant keyboard melody too. Matt and Joe’s harmonies sound perfect together, but they also showcase their great individual vocals. They’ve succeeded in putting their own chilled spin on ‘Youth’ and we definitely think Troye would approve of their cover!
