Matt Linnen – best known for appearing on the 2017 series of ‘The X Factor’ – has announced a six-date headline tour around the UK in October this year.
Taking to his social media accounts to share the news, Matt said:
‘People!! This might look a long way off but I’m coming for you!! Heading out on the road with my band in October.’
Matt made quite the impression on the show, right from his first audition, when he performed an acoustic version of the Ray LaMontagne hit ‘Trouble.’
During his time on ‘The X Factor,’ whereby he finished in impressive sixth place, he was mentored by Judge Nicole Scherzinger. Some of his performances include ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’ and ‘Careless Whisper.’
His debut tour will allow him the opportunity to showcase the original music he has been working on, along with performances from his time on the show.
The tour dates are as follows:
Thursday 11 October – Deaf Institute, Manchester
Friday 12 October – Attic Bar (The Garage), Glasgow
Saturday 13 October – Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds
Thursday 18 October – The Sunflower Lodge, Birmingham
Friday 19 October – Chinnerys, Southend
Saturday 20 October – Borderline, London

Matt is currently embarking on ‘The X Factor Live Tour,’ performing at arenas around the UK and Ireland, alongside several other contestants from the series.
