    Matt Linnen Becomes Next Contestant To Leave ‘The X Factor’

    During ‘The X Factor’ semi-finals, three contestants will be leaving the competition; and, unfortunately, Matt Linnen has been eliminated from the show.

    On Saturday’s Live Show, Matt took on ‘Gimme Shelter’ by The Rolling Stones as part of the show’s Cool Britannia theme. He gave a phenomenal performance and once again his vocals were incredible. His performance differed to other weeks and he put his own unique mark on the iconic track.

    Speaking about his time on the show, he said he had ‘the best time’ and took the opportunity to thank those who had supported him throughout his time on the show.

    Matt – who was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger – also said that ‘this is not the end, this is just the beginning.’ He further went on to say that he was ‘happy to be a part of this whole X Factor experience.’ We are sad to see Matt leave the competition!

    But it isn’t all bad! Along with the other remaining contestants, Matt will feature on ‘The X Factor Live Tour’; performing at arenas around the UK and Ireland throughout February and March. For more information on the tour and to view a full list of tour dates, click here.

    On Sunday’s Live Show, the five remaining contestants will perform songs they feel can win them a place in the coveted Final. Two contestants will be eliminated from the show, and with the standard so high this year, it is a shame to see anyone leave!

    ‘The X Factor’ continues on ITV on Sunday 26 November at 7.30 pm.
