Max & Harvey struggle to balance fame and love on ‘Lonely’

Everyone’s favourite twin duo Max & Harvey are back with more new music.

The brothers latest track ‘Lonely’ hit streaming services earlier this week and showcases a more rock-tinged sound from the stars.

On ‘Lonely’, Max & Harvey muse on the difficulty of balancing relationships with their busybody lives.

Speaking on the single, the 18-year-olds said: “We’re massively proud of Lonely.

“Making the song was an eye-opening experience for us, as it helped us discover what we want our music to sound like.

“We wrote it about having commitment issues, as especially with our career over the last five years, we’ve struggled to maintain any real relationships.

“This song was our way of communicating that, as we know we’re not the only ones…”

It’s certainly been a busy time for the duo, who saw their fame rise to a new level when appearing on The X Factor Celebrity in 2019.

As well as releasing new music this year, Max & Harvey have been recording hit Spotify podcast, The Max & Harvey Podcast.

The show comes after the success of the brothers’ School Daze series which saw them talk about their time in the classroom with celebrity guests.

The Max & Harvey Podcast still follows that format with high profile names making appearances, although the twins now have more freedom to broach whichever topic they want.

Later this year the duo will once again be hitting the road as coronavirus restrictions lift.

Their This Is Not A Phase tour starts in Glasgow on August 11th before making a 10 stop trip around the country to finish in Southampton.

‘Lonely’ is streaming now.
