The singer-songwriter and his model wife have just celebrated the finale of The Voice Kids with an announcement of their very own ‘kid!’ The pair shared their baby news on social media with a gorgeous photo of the pair showing off Georgia’s tiny little bump alongside an exclusive interview with HELLO magazine.
The pair, who married in August of 2014, have shared that they had been casually trying for a baby since the end of last year until they found out they were going to become a family on a holiday in Palm Springs, allowing Danny to describe their child as “a Coachella baby.”
Speaking to HELLO magazine in their July issue, Danny explains, “at first we were shocked when it happened… so many people have such a hard graft starting a family that we didn’t really expect it to happen quickly.”
He also describes the excitement surrounding the news when it was shared with his fellow band mates, stating that Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter were all “over the moon” when they found out. Danny also tells HELLO of the support that he will receive from his band mates who have some experience with parenthood, sharing, “Tom and Harry are great dads,”
Of course, Danny now has his own experience with kids after having been a coach on the first ever series of The Voice Kid’s UK. The experience that has given Georgia no doubt about the abilities of her husband at being a father. Saying, “When I see how he is with children on The Voice Kids, how amazing he is with them, he is going to be a great dad.”
Baby Jones is due to be born on the 18th of January 2018 and I think it’s safe to say that we’re all extremely excited here at CelebMix and we wish the Jones family the best of luck with the pregnancy and their family!
