It’s been announced today (March 19th) that the West End production of Mean Girls: The Musical is set to close in London this summer ahead of a UK tour in 2026.

The musical, which is based on the 2004 film written by Tina Fey and has entertained over 350,000 audience members since its opening last spring, will conclude its run at London’s Savoy Theatre on June 8th, 2025.

Tickets for the remaining performances are available for purchase here.

    Mean Girls Musical

Mean Girls: The Musical is a stage adaptation of the 2004 film Mean Girls, featuring a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin.

The show follows Cady Heron as she navigates the social hierarchy of high school after moving from Africa to suburban America, encountering the infamous “Plastics” led by Regina George.

Lauded for its humor, strong performances, and engaging adaptation of the original film, the production received the ‘Best New Musical’ award at the 2025 WhatsOnStage Awards.

The current West End cast features Charlie Burn as Cady Heron, Georgina Castle as Regina George, Elèna Gyasi as Gretchen Wieners, and Grace Mouat as Karen Smith.
