Meet Andrea Samantha: A Former Hair Stylist and a Trauma Survivor

One cannot achieve overnight success. For many, it is the outcome of years of struggle, hard work, and utmost dedication. Learning to move past difficult hurdles is the only way one can get closer to their destination.

Andrea Samantha has been no stranger to the trials and tribulations of life. When dealing with a failed marriage couldn’t get any more challenging, she took it upon herself to search for the light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing was stopping Andrea, who poured all her passion and determination into achieving her goals.

Growing up in Ohio to a conservative family, Andrea was well-aware of the effort involved in raising a livelihood and maintaining a strong work ethic. “My mom stayed at home with me and my sister, and my dad worked 9-5. He taught us work ethic and that nothing is handed to us. We didn’t have the best relationship because I am independent, and they were more traditional.”

Young and talented, Andrea was ready to climb the ladder of success. Starting her career as a hairstylist, she knew she had to reach for new skies. As her clientele grew, her interest in charting new territories also grew. She soon set up her wedding hair and makeup business, which opened up several avenues for her. One of them led her to the world of direct sales at MONAT global, which completely changed the trajectory of her professional life.

There were only victories in store for Andrea when she joined MONAT. During her four years there, she successfully earned one million in commissions which acquired her a top rank in the company. Later, upon realizing she wanted to extend her knowledge to benefit others, Andrea entered the coaching field to guide young individuals to reach their goals. As a private coach, she currently trains her team of thousands to become top sales performers and uses her social media to promote her brand. She adds: “My goal is to have several streams of income, and it was to be able to have financial and time freedom which I now have.”

Her notion surrounding achieving success is straightforward: to not give up until you get there. Working towards resolve, she believes, is an essential component to seeing your dreams come to life. “I have a business coach and therapist who have helped me overcome my traumas to work at my best level. I protect my energy, keep my circle small, and I’m very picky about who I surround myself with.”

Thus, Andrea aims to help young individuals overcome the inner demons that typically hold them back.
