The Westlife ‘Twenty Tour’ has started after months of anticipation. Yes, we’ve had a sneaky look at the set list and seen some fan videos and it looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
But our favourite thing about the tour so far is a post by Gillian Filan, Shane’s wife, featuring all of Westlife’s Wives and Fiance. Gillian, rocking Westlife tour merch took to Instagram to post a photo of the ‘West WaFs’.
The West WaFs are: Gillian, Nicky’s wife Georgina Byrne, Kian’s wife Jodi Egan( nee Albert) and Mark’s fiance Cailean O Neill.
Gillian and Shane have been married for 16 years. but have known each other for 27 years having met when they were both just teenagers at just 13 years old. The couple has three children together, Nicole, Patrick and Shane Jr. They appeared in Shane’s song ‘Back To You‘, all of Shane’s family and friends also appeared in ‘Knee Deep In My Heart’.
Nicky and Georgina, just like Shane and Gillian met when they were 13 and have been married for 16 years, They also have three children together, Twins Rocco and Jay, and a daughter named Gia.
Kian and Jodie met when Jodie was in a band called Girl Thing, they have been married for 10 years and have three children Koa, Zekey and Cobi.
Mark and Cailean announced their engagement much to the delight of Westlife fans, after 5 years together. The couple got engaged on their fifth anniversary during a holiday together in the Maldives. Mark took to Instagram to share the happy news.
Westlife is back after a seven-year break, celebrating a staggering 20 years in the pop business with the ‘Twenty Tour’ and a new album out later this year called Spectrum. So far the band have released two new singles, Hello My Love and Better Man.
