We have followed the contestants right from their first audition, watched them compete for a chair at the renowned brutal Six Chair Challenge, saw them fight for a place in the Live Shows at Judges’ Houses and now the final sixteen contestants have been selected and are preparing for the first Live Show of the new series of ‘The X Factor.’

Here at CelebMix, we introduce you to the 2018 batch of contestants for the Live Shows. In this article, we introduce you to Acacia and Aaliyah, who are in the Groups Category and will be mentored by Robbie Williams.

Acacia and Aaliyah both auditioned for the show, initially as solo artists. The two girls were put together by the Judges – made up of Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Field-Williams and Robbie Williams. They then went on to deliver an incredible performance of ‘Bang Bang’ by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

At the Six Chair Challenge, the duo’s first performance was stopped, with Judge Robbie Williams asking them to perform ‘Bang Bang’ again. Their performance not only earned them a seat, but they also received the Golden Buzzer, meaning they immediately earned a place in the Judges’ Houses.

In their Judges’ Houses performance, the girls performed a mash-up of Soul II Soul’s ‘Back To Life’ and Stormzy’s ‘Big For Your Boots’ for Judge Robbie Williams and his special guest David Walliams.

Make sure you are following Acacia and Aaliyah on their official Instagram account to stay up-to-date with their time in the competition!

The first Live Show of ‘The X Factor’ will be aired on ITV on Saturday 20 October at 8.25 pm.

Make sure you tune in to the show to see how Acacia and Aaliyah get on in the competition!
