We have followed the contestants right from their first audition, watched them compete for a chair at the renowned Six Chair Challenge, saw them fight for a place in the Live Shows at Judges’ Houses and now the final sixteen contestants have been selected and are preparing for the first Live Show of the new series of ‘The X Factor.’

Here at CelebMix, we introduce you to the 2018 batch of contestants for the Live Shows. In this article, we introduce you to United Vibe, the new boy-band formed on the show. The five-piece are in the Groups Category and will be mentored by Robbie Williams.

Initially, the five boys – comprising of members Kieran, Jack, Jon, Blaise and Elliot – auditioned as solo artists and they were put into a boy band.

Their first performance as a band – formerly named Vibe 5 – was at the Six Chair Challenge, whereby they performed ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ by Justin Timberlake. Despite not having as long as other contestants to rehearse, their performance hinted at major potential for the band and their performance earned them a chair at this stage of the competition.

At their performance in the Judges’ Houses stage, the band performed a rendition of ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ by James Arthur. Their acoustic performance, which showcased their individual vocals and as a group, earned them a place in the Live Shows.

Make sure you are following United Vibe on their official Instagram account to stay up-to-date with their time in the competition!

The first Live Show of ‘The X Factor’ will be aired on ITV on Saturday 20 October at 8.25 pm.

Make sure you tune in to the show to see how United Vibe gets on in the competition!
