Melladaze drop their first new music of the year this week with the release of their brand new single, ‘I Love Ya’ – a mature R&B-meets-pop slow jam that explores the euphoric feelings a person can experience when falling in love with their number one ride-or-die.
Produced by The Kode, and serving as the follow up to ‘I H8 U’ (which to date has gained more than half a million streams since its release last October), the track is set to feature on the groups upcoming debut EP which is set to be unveiled later in the year.
In a joint statement the ladies say of the single: “’I Love Ya’ is basically about finding your ride-or-die lover. It was inspired by that fresh feeling when you’re falling in love with someone and it just feels so natural – the honeymoon period. We worked so hard on the vocals and the harmonies, but it was fun and easy to write as some of us are very much living the song’s lyrics at the moment!”

Since their formation on Little Mix: The Search back in 2020, where they finished as season 1 runners-up, Melladaze have gone from strength to strength with their unique brand of empowering pop striking a chord with fans up and down the country.
