MiC LOWRY, a five piece vocal harmony group from Liverpool, have announced that they will be supporting Justin Bieber on the European leg of his Purpose tour.

The band announced the exciting news via a video on Twitter. Not content with just announcing their support slot, MiC LOWRY also treated fans to a short (but stunning) rendition of Bieber, Major Lazer and MØ’s ‘Cold Water’.

But just who are these five lovely lads from Liverpool?

MiC LOWRY is made up of: Kaine Ofoeme, Akia Jones, Delleile Ankrah, Michael Welch and Ben Sharples. The band began singing together around five years ago, at singing workshops run by a youth organisation.

Since then, the boys have been perfecting their craft, with numerous live performances and the release of their first EP The Show last year.

Their slick RnB vocals and charming personalities have won them an army of fans, including famous faces such as Zendaya who recently tweeted about them. With over 13 million views on YouTube, people across the world are lapping up their harmonious vocals.

In 2015, MiC LOWRY won the coveted MOBO UnSung prize which represents the best new or emerging music of black origin within the UK.

Ahead of supporting Justin on his Purpose tour, MiC LOWRY will also head out on their own headline tour, visiting London, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. You can get tickets for their tour here. They will also be performing at Fusion Festival in Liverpool on September 3.
