Mikey Way and David Debiak have released their debut album For The Night To Control. Electric Century is a project that has been in the works since 2013.
In an interview, Mikey said he wanted to start Electric Century after seventh grade when he wrote it on a notebook in science class. The band started in 2013 after the breakup of My Chemical Romance.
Their first song “I Lied” was released February 26, 2014. The band was later included in Alternative Press‘s “100 Bands You Need to Know” list.
You can get the new album for free when you buy a copy of Kerrang! magazine. Currently, you can only get the album when you buy the magazine but the official Electric Century twitter account has said you will be able to get it on Spotify in the future.
