Mimi Webb can’t help but keep running back to a troublesome love interest on bubbling new single ‘Red Flags’.
The Brit Awards 2023 nominee enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2022 and is set to reach new heights over the next 12 months with an upcoming debut record and sold-out UK tour.
‘Red Flags’ comes as the latest taste of that hotly anticipated first full project, titled Amelia, set for release on March 3.
A fun-filled two and half minutes of pop, ‘Red Flags’ drops after much teasing on social media and is brought to life with a playful music video as it drops today.
In the clip, the rising star can be seen chasing a mischievous lover through the night, despite his many flaws.
Just yesterday the star was named as a nominee for The Brit Awards 2023 in the Best New Artist category following a rapid rise over the last two years.
Writing on Instagram, Mimi said: “OH MY GOD!? oh my god.. best new artist nomination @brits2023 stop it right now. Thank you so so much, I am truly honoured, this is a dream come true alreay to be nominated.
“This was the best phone call ever! I couldn’t believe it! I’ve been honestly wishing for this for so long. I’m so grateful thank you, thank u, thank youuuu. BRING ON MY FIRST TIMe AT THE BRITS!”
The upcoming record Amelia is set to feature 12 tracks, including singles ‘House on Fire’ and ‘Ghost of You’, and will drop before a 31-date tour across Europe and the UK – with support from rising star Henry Moodie.
