    Mnet to Broadcast BTS Comeback Show on May 24

    Mnet, a music television channel in South Korea, has announced that it will broadcast BTS’s official comeback show on Thursday, May 24. The news comes just an hour after BTS dropped their newest album called Love Yourself: Tear and their new music video for “Fake Love.”

    According to Mnet, the Korean septet will perform five songs on the show, including their new single, “Fake Love,” which they will perform for the first time at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday. The group will also perform new tracks “Airplane pt. 2” and “Anpanman,” as well as popular hits “Best of Me” from Love Yourself: Her and “Fire” from Wings. Additionally, BTS will also premiere a few short films to go along with their new album.

    Around the same time that Mnet made the announcement, BTS’s label, Big Hit Entertainment, released the official fanchants for songs “Fake Love,” “Airplane pt. 2” and “Anpanman” in preparation for the group’s upcoming performances, both at the Billboard Music Awards and the Mnet comeback show.

    BTS is currently in the United States promoting their Love Yourself: Tear album and their upcoming BBMAs performance, which will take place in Las Vegas. The award show will be broadcasted live on NBC as well as Mnet. After their history-making performance as the first K-pop boy band to take the BBMAs stage, the group will return to their home country of South Korea to further promote their new album.
