A few days ago, we reported the release of Monsta X’s new single “Shoot Out”. Within just 12 days, the single has made its way to the top, helping the group rack up four consecutive wins in South Korea. The boys picked up #1 wins on the prestigious Korean TV Shows; M Countdown, Show Champion, SBS MTV’s “The Show,” and Music Bank.
While Monsta X have been steadily growing and soaring on the International music charts, their achievements on the domestic front are quite significant. The same became evident when a wave of joy and excitement was encountered on Twitter as Monbebes shared their reaction for the group’s win at the Music Bank. #ShootOut4thWin became one of the top trending topics on Twitter as the group accepted their 4th award, both surprised and grateful.
As explained by Soompi,
This win was even more exciting for the group and their fans Monbebe because KBS is one of Korea’s major non-cable networks, and coming in first on KBS’s “Music Bank,” SBS’s “Inkigayo” or MBC’s “Music Core” is seen as a huge milestone in an artist’s career.
The band are in the midst of making a huge impact on our shores with their 2nd Album Take.1, ‘Are You There?’ debuting on the Billboard World Albums chart at No. 7; marked the week of November 3rd. Not to mention their 47-week streak on the Billboard Social 50 Chart. Now, Monsta X is preparing to infiltrate the U.S. shores again by making history as the first K-Pop group to perform at the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball; kicking off in Los Angeles on Friday November 30th alongside household names such as Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, G-Eazy, Khalid, Normani, Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Calvin Harris, Bazzi and Bebe Rexha.
