Monsta X are set to make their animated debut appearance on Cartoon Network’s ‘We Bare Bears’ on May 27th.
The seven-piece have been going from strength to strength worldwide over the last few years and their most recent Western venture will see them become the first Korean act to guest on the animated show.
The appearance all came about from a tweet from one of Monsta X’s MONBEBE’s who compared member Shownu to the Bear Bros and Daniel Chong, the creator of the show, replied saying ‘I’ll see what I can do.’ One year later the ambitious cross over is finally happening!

The episode synopsis explains “Panda is a huge Monsta X fan and he is in for the surprise of a lifetime thanks to his thoughtful Bear Bros. In “Panda’s Birthday,” Grizz and Ice Bear mastermind a creative scheme to help Panda meet his favourite K-pop band on his birthday.”
Speaking on the guest appearance, I.M stated “We are absolutely thrilled and honoured to be in an episode of We Bare Bears. It’s one of the most beloved animated series in the world. We put in a lot of effort into this collaboration and hope our fans, as well as We Bare Bears fans, can truly enjoy it.”
