Movie Review: The Spy Who Dumped Me

Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon are the new iconic duo in their new comedy film, The Spy Who Dumped Me.

    SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD

The movie has a killer cast including Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, Justin Theroux, and Sam Heughan.

In this new action comedy classic, Mila Kunis’ character, Audrey, finds out that her boyfriend, Drew (played by Theroux) is a spy from 2 CIA agents that almost kidnap her at work. Thanks to Drew, Audrey is now involved in the mission and her job is to hide a mysterious flash drive and give it to the right person, which is the hard part. Kate McKinnon’s character, Morgan, also tags along on their worldwide adventure to keep the flash drive safe.

Turns out, they liked being spies after all.

The movie definitely has plenty of violence which includes a good amount of blood and gore, in addition to plenty of laughable moments from everyone in the cast. Also, Mila Kunis has blonde hair and it looks fantastic.

“Do you wanna die having never been to Europe or do you wanna go to Europe and die having been to Europe?”  is one of the many funny quotes from the movie.

The movie has received an R rating for violence, language, nudity, and mild sexual material. However, the movie could have easily been rated PG-13 as they could have edited out some of the language and the nudity scene.

If you haven’t already, check out the trailer below.

Overall, we definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of comedy and/or action. You won’t be disappointed (we hope). We definitely suggest that you go see this with your best friends to laugh and have a good time!
