Fresh from celebrating signing a new global deal with EMI Records, N-Dubz drop their latest single “February”.
Written by the band themselves along with Junior Edwards, and Lewis Rawson, the emotionally charged track (produced by group member Fazer) serves as the trio’s first new music of 2023, and tells the tale of a romantic relationship gone wrong.
Whilst boasting the same conversational lyrics, and trademark back and forth storytelling that first made them stars in the early 2000’s, the single’s dizzying production successfully manages to put a fresh contemporary twist on the classic, instantly recognisable N-Dubz sound – it’s clever mix of staccato rhythms, and 2-step style beat sequences fusing together to create an irrepressible, edgy R&B/pop bop befitting of the groups stellar back catalogue.
