Self described brat pop rocker Nadia Vaeh has just shared her latest musical offering, a cover of Lizzo’s hit “Truth Hurts”. The song follows the release of her single “Promise Not To Kill You” shared earlier this year.
The Atlanta born-and-bred artist has found acclaim with her own brand of authentic pop musical releases. With her cover of “Truth Hurts”, Nadia Vaeh wanted to celebrate one of her biggest influences Lizzo as well as show her own growth as an artist. She confides, “In the last year, I really feel like I’ve found my voice and style and gotten re-rooted in what I want to say and exactly how I want to say it! I attribute much of this to Lizzo!” Musically, Nadia’s rendition is more rock n’roll complete with bright guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums and grunge-drenched bass lines. Pop punk meets rock heavy soundscapes underlay Nadia’s strong and confident vocals for a cathartic and empowering listen.
Nadia Vaeh is an important artist on the rise. A vocal supporter of mental health awareness, LGBTQ+ rights and embracing your inner villain, Nadia has found success with her genre-blending authentic releases.
