“Sweden’s loneliest hottie” has just released her most incredible banger to date.
Rejoice: Namasenda is back! And she came in tow with a three minute long ear candy that is equally sweet and irresistible!
After releasing stand-out hits such as “Dare” (both AM / PM version) and the Himera-produced darling “I Could Die” over the course of the year via PC Music , the Swedish singer-songwriter decided to close the year with a bang(er).
Her latest single is titled “Wanted” and might just be her best release so far.
The track sees her teaming up again with up-and-coming producer Himera for a 100 Gecs-adjacent release that is truly and ultimately the wildest ride of the year. Hard-hitting techno beats are intertwined with the singer’s glossy, auto-tuned vocals while the synths take the listener higher and higher until ultimately it all goes completely berserk during the last couple of moments.
It’s great. And worth repeating (at least) once or twice.
Talking to PAPER Magazine, Namasenda revealed that the inspiration for the track came from “this major mean girls type of drama that went down about a year ago that really shocked me. So this song just embodies everything I felt at that moment and still feel.“
