Rising Grime / Metal recording artist Native James ushers in a new era this week with the release of his brand new single ‘FALLEN’, and it’s already making waves across playlists and late-night radio.

Introspective, cinematic, and emotionally raw, the striking track marks something of a bold shift in the rappers ever-evolving sound, as he blends arresting guitar riffs with sweet melodies to create a piece of music that truly embodies the ache a person can feel having fallen on hard times.
Commenting on the single, James says: “’FALLEN’ is the first segment of a new era. This is a track about coming out of the ‘Rebirth EP’ and recognising the madness around me, the duality of myself, the manic behaviours of the world, and the emotional impulses that we carry, all compacted in mysticism. ’FALLEN’ is about all of us that have fallen far from grace.”

Fresh from performing blistering live sets at Sniester Festival in Amsterdam alongside the likes of SOFT PLAY, and MEFF-FEST 2 with SNAYX, Native has been announced to play Glastonbury Festival for the first time!
In what promises to be a career defining moment, the ‘Hammer’ rapper will play not one but two sets; one on the BBC Introducing Stage, and another on the Greenpeace Stage, both on 26th June.
Next up, the Ipswich-based artist will join post-hardcore trio, letlive. at their farewell shows at London’s Electric Ballroom in Camden on July 10th and 13th, before appearing at Multitude Festival and Burn It Down in August.
