Netflix has teamed up with actor Zac Efron to launch a new series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

The new show has eight episodes and it’s absolutely fantastic ( trust us we’ve sat and binged watched the entire series).

It sees Zac as you’ve never seen him before as he travels the world with wellness expert Darin Olien and his younger brother Dylan Efron, in search of more healthy and sustainable ways to live.

The show which was filmed over the summer in 2018, shows Zac, Darin and Dylan travel across the world.

Please note there are some slight spoilers for the series, so read at your own risk.

    Episode 1

The first episode sees Zac, Darin and Dylan visit Puerto Rico where they see how an island rebuilds itself in the aftermath of a deadly hurricane, where survival in the form of sustainability has gone from convenience to absolute necessity.

    Episode 2

The adventurous trio visit both London and New York to see how cities are becoming more sustainability-conscious.

    Episode 3

Sees Zac, Darin and Dylan visit Lourdes and Paris to learn about water and all the properties it has including healing.

    Episode 4

A trip to Sardinia is next where the trio explore if longevity is the key to a sustainable life, as Sardinia is home some of the oldest people in the world. Zac tries is hand at sheep herding, where he concemplates that maybe life in Hollywood is not what he needs but maybe the more laid back lifestyle a place like Sardinia could offer.

    Episode 5

Iceland is the next stop where Zac, Darin and Dylan learn about alternative energy and see how a country can be full self sufficient by powering itself on renewable energy sources.

    Episode 6

Next they visit Costa Rica and go deep in to the jungle, going back back to school to learn about creating a healthy and sustainable community. Which challenges some of their own old ideas. Zac also discovers just how dangerous and deadly zip lining can be if you don’t pay attention to your surroundings.

    Episode 7

The trio visit Lima in Peru where they learn all about bio-piracy and how improperly imported Peruvian super-foods are threatening the economy and the survival of it’s indigenous people.

    Episode 8

Iquitos,Peru is the final stop for Zac, Dylan and Darin. This episode is perhaps the most eye opening and important moment of the entire series. Darin gets a phone call to say that sadly the Malibu fires have consumed his homes and his belongings. Which just highlights the need and the necessity for the entire series and why we all need to change how live our day to day lives. The trio also visit he Ayahuasca Foundation in Mishana, Peru to go on their own spiritual journey.

You can stream the entire first season of Down to Earth with Zac Efron exclusively on Netflix.
