New Character Confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Marvel fans have been wondering what new characters will be coming into the second Guardians of the Galaxy (GOTG) film and just who will be playing them. Usually, Marvel hold their cards very close to their chest and don’t reveal much until the movie hits the big screen but there has been a new character confirmation!

However, James Gunn the writer/director of the hit movie, has made it clear that he wants to bring on some new characters to the group of misfits but wanted to keep Peter Quill aka Star-Lord aka Chris Pratt as the only Terran (technically half-Terran) in the gang.

So, who is the new player in the game?

Well according to these tweets, Canadian-French actress Pom Klementieff is joining the film!

There was lots of speculation at first about who she would play and now it looks like Miss Klementieff is taking up the role of Mantis in GOTG Vol.2.

This is an exciting addition as it means more badass female characters as well as Gamora and her adopted sister Nebula.

We can’t wait to see it!
