Ahead of the Season 6 premiere in April, a new Game of Thrones teaser has appeared online.
The teaser, set in an eerie crypt known as the Hall of Faces, shows the lifeless faces of many of the cast, including characters that are currently alive or dead.
There is no actual show footage in the teaser – it is merely a fictional scene to excite, worry and stress out avid Game of Thrones viewers.
There appears to be a focus on the mortality of characters in the teaser – Winter is coming and the future is unknown. It was announced at the start of the year that Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin missed the deadline to publish the sixth instalment ‘The Winds of Winter’ before the TV series aired. For the first time ever, showrunners Dan Benioff and D.B. Weiss have next to no book material left to create the plot, therefore perhaps they are planning on a mass exodus of characters!
The new season of Game of Thrones begins on HBO on April 24th. For the time being, get into the spirit by watching the new teaser!
