As they continue to build up to the release of their much anticipated second studio album, New Hope Club roll out more new content today (September 29th) in the form of the music video for their latest single, ‘Whatever’.
Directed by Joshua Tanner and produced by SixTwentySix Productions, the character driven clip sees a bored looking Blake, George and Reece trudge their way through mundane shifts at a roller disco, before abandoning their “day jobs” to perform in the ring with a group of friends circling around them on roller skates!

Inspired by the soulful grooves of Earth, Wind & Fire, and described as being a “wistful break-up bop”, ‘Whatever’ serves as a modern day anthem for anybody who finds themselves nursing a broken heart following the breakdown of their once loving and meaningful relationship, with the tracks pointed lyrics sit somewhere between the “exhale of letting go and the bitterness of its resolution”.
Set to feature on the bands upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album, along with previous single releases ‘Girl Who Does Both’ and ‘Getting Better’, the song serves as another showcase of the trio’s extraordinary musical evolution as they continue to further explore their brooding and quintessential British pop sound.
