One of our favorite songs, New Rules by Dua Lipa has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify and we are so proud. This is Dua’s first song to hit one billion streams. The only other female artist to achieve one billion streams is Camila Cabello with her hit song Havana.

“So much love and gratitude to everyone that’s been listening to the music… thank you thank you!” Dua wrote to her 21 million Instagram followers. Her post already has over 323,000 likes.
New Rules was a single from Dua’s self-titled album that was released in June of 2017. Other songs we love from Dua Lipa include Begging, Hotter Than Hell, IDGAF, Lost In Your Light featuring Miguel and Last Dance. Make sure you check them out.
Just this year, the music video for New Rules passed 1.5 billion views after being published on YouTube for about a year. The music video was released on July 7th, 2017 and you can check it out below.
