Niall Horan Announces Australia and New Zealand Tour Dates

Niall Horan has taken to Instagram to announce that he’s taking the Flicker World Tour, his first solo tour, to Australia and New Zealand in 2018.

Beginning only a few weeks ago, Niall’s first ever solo show was appropriately in his home city of Dublin. The tour took him to London then Stockholm and now to Sydney where he is preparing for his fourth show on Sunday.

Now, Niall has announced that he will be returning to Australia along with New Zealand next year. He is set to perform in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in June 2018. These shows are going to be bigger than any others on the Flicker Tour. 2018 will see Niall perform in arenas rather than the smaller theatres that have populated the rest of the tour.

The pre-sale for these shows begins on 11 September at 11 am, with the main sale on 14 September at midday. Given the 1D boys’ track record, we’re pretty sure these arenas are going to be sold out, so make sure you get your tickets. Check out http://www.niallhoran.com/live/ for all the deets.

Niall will be joined on stage by his new support act, American country music singer, songwriter and record producer Maren Morris. Maren has already released four studio albums; her latest album Hero sold over 240,000 copies in the USA. Thanks to the Flicker Tour, Maren will be able to play her music to thousands of new fans worldwide.

But these new dates aren’t the only exciting news. Niall has also hinted that he’s got more planned for the rest of the world, teasing that “2018 is gonna be a good one!” The Flicker Tour is already set to hit the USA, Japan, Mexico, Brazil and Canada. Maybe extra global dates are yet to be added?

Admittedly, the Flicker Tour dates thus far have been a bit sporadic, with Stockholm being the only mainland European date and Tokyo the only Asian one, despite most of the USA being covered. Perhaps 2018 will see a more thorough tour, hitting more UK, European, South American and Asian cities.

We can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for Niall. Fingers crossed for an album before the end of 2017?
