Niall Horan is currently touring the world for the first time solo. His debut tour, Flicker Sessions, began on August 29th and runs through November 22nd – the perfect amount of time to hit the road to wrap up the end of 2017. Niall is meant to be on stage, it’s been apparent since One Direction was first formed.

The question many fans asked when the tour was announced is how much of his solo music he’d play on tour. Would he play long sets and reveal all of his music? Would his shows be shorter and contain a mix of covers and a few of his favorite solo numbers? No matter what he played, fans were ready to get tickets to see him. His tour sold out completely and let’s be honest – we’d listen to him sing the phone book.

Niall’s sets have been amazing so far, and they’re only going to keep getting better, especially since Niall just announced that his debut album, Flicker, will be released on October 20th. It’s not like fans around the world haven’t been able to hear a few of his songs already – they’ve been streamed on social media. However, now we’ll get to learn the lyrics so that Niall can look into a crowd and see them singing his songs back to him.

With his first solo album, we can’t imagine there’s any feeling better.

it's been a long time coming but I'm delighted to announce that my new album 'Flicker' is out on the 20th of October . I hope you enjoy it pic.twitter.com/7nT7wGue6V

Niall’s message is short and sweet. The album is coming soon, and he hopes fans enjoy it. Not that he has anything to worry about, but it’s still a big deal to release an entire album of songs you wrote, lived with, and picked for such a big moment.

We can’t wait to get our hands on Niall’s album, we have a feeling it’s going to be one of the best of 2017.

Are you looking forward to Flicker? Have you seen Niall on tour yet? If so, what is your favorite song so far? Let us know at CelebMix.
