Niall Horan’s debut album, titled ‘Flicker,’ which was released on 20 October 2017, has now reached over one billion streams on Spotify.
Sharing the news on to both his Instagram and Twitter pages, Niall showed his gratitude towards his legion of dedicated fans. He also thanked his fans for taking ‘Flicker’ “under your wing and making it your own.”
‘This is an album that I spent 18 months making. It was an emotional experience, it was a lot of long, long hours grafting in the studio and trying to get as much out of myself as possible. The way that this album has been received has been incredible.’

‘Flicker’ was the first solo album release from Niall, following One Direction’s hiatus. The first hint of new music from the extremely talented singer, song-writer and performer came with his debut single ‘This Town.’
The phenomenal ‘Flicker’ album includes tracks such as ‘The Tide,’ ‘Mirrors’ and ‘On The Loose,’ to name only a few. The album received significant recognition in many countries worldwide, including a Number 1 position in the United States, whereby he stated that he felt that ‘all the hard work has paid off.’
The personal lyrics, incredible vocals and musical abilities are a credit to Niall. His music has helped unify individuals around the world, and many fans have shared on social media how Niall’s album has been of a personal benefit to them.
