We love Nick Jonas at CelebMix. Like, we are full on in love with him. He can sing. He can act. He is a model. He is a producer. He can do anything. Most importantly, he’s a nice guy.
The former Jonas Brother sat down with Complex Magazine for a photo shoot and interview. Here we divulge his best quotes from the article:
On his sexuality:
“As a heterosexual male, [I am] open and comfortable about loving my fan base, gay or straight, because to me there is no difference, it is my fan base. Your sexual preference does not matter to me and it shouldn’t matter to anybody. I thought [the criticism] was kind of dumb, considering I play this gay character on a gritty show. There’s a gay sex scene. I kissed a man. The goal is acceptance on all levels— that should be the focus,”

On his relationship with Kate Hudson:
“Kate’s incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”
No kissing and telling…or erm…sleeping and spilling?
On his love for Shania Twain:
“Shania Twain is one of my biggest influences. I love her. Her ex-husband [Robert “Mutt” Lange] is one of the greatest record producers of all time, specifically with that crossover pop music thing. Melodically, vocal arrangements, the songs—I think it’s all brilliant.”
We are just patiently waiting for a mash up of Jonas’ “Jealous” and Twain’s “I’m Jealous”.
(Most importantly) On the Jonas Brothers split:

We totally respect that….but we’re still rooting for a reunion.
The universe seems to agree Jonas is a great guy. Responses to the article have been all favorable. Any celebrity interaction we see from him always garnishes “he’s lovely” like responses. Any article we read from him, he comes across as kind. One of our writers even has met Mr. Jonas multiple times and says he is one of the most polite, kind people they have ever met, period. Momma Jonas raised quite a gentleman.
