American singer and actor Nick Jonas has been named as the new face of the sneaker brand Creative Recreation.
The ‘Jealous’ hitmaker has long been a buyer of the LA brand’s shoes, and the label have signed up a mega star to promote their latest range.
Nick Jonas will be fronting the upcoming Fall 2016 advertising campaign, and will star in many more promotional campaign’s for Creative Recreation.
As well as fronting adverts for the sneaker company, Nick will also take part in key initiatives like appearing at events including ones like Sole Sessions, where he is set to record acoustic tracks.
Another exciting aspect of this partnership is the competition where fans can get the chance to meet the singer during his summer tour with Demi Lovato.
But the most exciting part of this collaboration between Nick Jonas, and Creative Recreation is Nick’s first shoe collection, which is set to be released in January 2017. His first sneaker collection will be unisex and will reportedly be inspired by a day in the life of the artist.
Speaking about teaming up with the shoe brand, Jonas released a statement saying: “I am looking forward to my collaboration with Creative Recreation, and to starting the footwear design process in creating shoes for my fans that are perfect for their wardrobe.” Guys, girls, line up.” (sic).
The news of the star being the face of the brand comes after the release of his new single ‘Close’ (FT Tove Lo), and also that he will be filming a music video for each song from his upcoming album ‘Last Year Was Complicated’.
