Noah Cyrus has announced the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me, arriving July 11 via RECORDS/Columbia Records. Alongside the album reveal, the GRAMMY-nominated artist has also confirmed a North American headline tour this fall, kicking off with a special release-day performance at The Ford in Los Angeles.
On her forthcoming 12-track record, Noah Cyrus expands her sonic palette, leaning more deliberately into the country, folk, and Americana influences that have long shaped her songwriting. The album marks a notable shift from the genre-blending experimentation of her 2022 debut, The Hardest Part. Co-produced with trusted, longtime collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, the album also features guest appearances from icons such as Blake Shelton, Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley, and Bill Callahan.

Lyrically, I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me explores themes of nature, memory, grief, identity, and healing — with family playing a central role throughout the album. On the track “Don’t Put It All On Me,” Cyrus records a song written by her brother Braison into a collaboration with Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold. She also reimagines and revives “With You,” the first song her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ever wrote, turning it into a poignant ballad about presence and devotion.
“My dad is one of my biggest influences. He turned me on to so many great songs and artists. My musical inspirations came from somewhere, and more often than not, it’s been him.”
Other featured collaborations include “New Country” with country star Blake Shelton, and “Way of the World” with rising artist Ella Langley, underscoring Cyrus’ full embrace of a more traditional country sound, a direction she had only hinted at in earlier releases. Despite the range of spectacular voices featured, the emotional core of the album remains unmistakably her own: intimate, earthy, and unfiltered.
Sonically, the record is rooted in traditional instrumentation — with banjo, pedal steel, dulcimer, mandolin, and cello providing a textured backdrop for Cyrus’ distinctive, smoky vocal tone. The result is a record that deepens her commitment to storytelling through a grounded, roots-driven lens. Even the album’s title, I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me, feels intentional; more than a lyric! It’s a sentiment that speaks to legacy, connection, and the journey of self-definition. Whether through honoring her roots or navigating the spaces between solitude and connection, Cyrus is walking forward with clarity, inviting listeners to join her.
