Her account quickly filled up with stunning pictures of her, her kids (Tom, Shep, and Odette), and her husband (Jared Padalecki [Supernatural]). Within just a few months, she reached over six-hundred thousand followers on the platform, with most of her pictures obtaining at least seventy thousand likes each.
Then, in April, in just about the most subtle way possible, Genevieve mentioned a blog in the caption of one of her posts.
Since then, fans of Genevieve Padalecki have (im)patiently been waiting for her blog’s launch. While she mentioned a late April release, by the time May came around, there was no news about the site.
A few more weeks went by, and finally, on June 28th, Genevieve announced the debut of her blog, Now and Gen.

It was definitely worth the wait.
Genevieve’s blog is gorgeously sculpted with bold and bright colors, and uses a beautifully simple small caps font. Everything is easy to follow, and if a reader is looking for something in particular, it will not be hard to find. The blog’s navigation separates everything into perfect categories, making it easy for readers to get to the section they are looking for. There is also a search bar right at the top.
The home page pulls readers right into the newest of Genevieve’s posts, which currently includes a letter from Jared Padalecki to his kids. To promote Now and Gen, Jared posted about it on his Instagram.
On the about page, Genevieve offers a short, but sweet description of her life, and why she opened up her blog. It is also full of pictures from her Instagram, which feature the majority of the Padalecki family.
Then, the website dives into sections. The first one is titled wear, which gives readers the chance to buy some of the clothing and accessories Genevieve wears in her Instagram posts. The second one, parent, is dedicated to Genevieve’s mom side. It holds Jared’s letter to his kids, as well as advice articles like “How To Talk So Kids Will Listen”. The third, live, offers tips for everyday life, such as “Keeping A Planner”. There is also pamper, which deals with things like skincare, love, and sips, which includes some drink recipes. The last tab, shop, holds pages full of recommendations from Genevieve. It includes items for him, her, kids, and baby.
While Now and Gen was just released, it is clear that the blog is a winner. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but it is already jam-packed with insightful and charming photos and posts. With all of the sections Genevieve’s blog holds, she certainly offers a little something for everyone. You will definitely want to keep your eyes on it, which is easy, thanks to Genevieve’s email subscription option.
