Olly Murs has amassed four billion streams/downloads on his song ‘That Girl’ in China. ‘That Girl’ is actually one of the extra tracks featured on the deluxe version of his 2016 album, ’24 HRS’.
Olly shared the news by posting a picture on his Instagram holding a plaque presented by ‘Sony Music China’, for surpassing four billion streams/downloads. We think that it is amazing that he has achieved that. This is the latest in a long line of achievements in Olly’s career so far and we can’t wait for even more great hits in the future.
Olly has also released a lyric video for ‘That Girl’. The lyric video features both the English and Chinese lyrics. In all honesty, we have this lyric video on repeat whenever we watch it.
On Thursday 11th April, Olly performed a gig at the ‘Modern Sky Lab’ in Shanghai. We have watched quite a few of the videos from his fans over in China, and it’s made us even more hyped for Olly’s forthcoming tour. It’s clear to see that Olly puts his heart into all of his performances, and appreciates his fans wherever they are in the world.
One thing that everyone can probably agree on, is the fact that we are secretly hoping ‘That Girl’, makes it onto the tour setlist as it would be amazing to hear it live.
Whilst every performance Olly does is amazing, we believe that his upcoming tour will be his best tour yet. Celebrating 10 years in the music industry, the tour in May will honour Olly’s greatest hits.
