Olly Murs is currently on his 2019 All the Hits UK tour and at every show, he is urging fans to speak up about mental health before he sings ‘Talking to Myself‘. We believe that the message he has for his fans before he sings the song on his tour is truly empowering.

The singer talks about the fact that too many people are suffering from bad mental health and feeling like they are alone. According to statistics, 1 in 6 people has suffered a common mental disorder like depression or anxiety in the past week.

It is important that more people speak up about their mental health. No one should have to suffer in silence. If more influential people keep opening up and speaking about mental health, they may inspire their fans to also do the same.

Olly Murs has opened up a lot over the past year about his struggles with anxiety. He has even spoken about how his anxiety almost caused him to turn down the opportunity of being a coach on the Voice UK. His anxiety even got so bad he was having panic attacks where he struggled to breathe.

As well as this, he has also spoken about how the best thing he did was going to see a therapist who helped him to come up with strategies to cope with his issues with his mental health.

You can listen to the acoustic version of ‘Talking to Myself’ below:

We believe that people can look happy on the outside but on the inside, it can sometimes be a different story. We think that Olly Murs is an exceptional individual, and the fact he is speaking up at mental health is inspiring.

It’s truly amazing that Olly actually is using his music to reach out to people.
