Omar Rudberg has announced a six-date world tour for later this year as the rising pop star prepares to take his discography to date across the globe.
The 25-year-old took to Cirkus in his home city of Stockholm for his first ever solo headline show in February, playing hits from debut album OMR as well as singles, covers and a track from hit Netflix show Young Royals in a 21-track set.
Since then, Rudberg has released latest single ‘Red Light’, an atmospheric offering that hints at a star ready to take his pop sound to new places. The singer will release follow-up single ‘Talk’ on Friday, June 28.
CelebMix recently celebrated the second birthday of breakthrough record OMR with the help of fans. That album included viral hit ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’, as well as fan favourites ‘Que Puedo Hacer’ and ‘Breathe’.
Rudberg will kick off the tour at the prestigious Scala in London on Monday, October 21. The Kings Cross venue has hosted artists including Coldplay, P!nk and Louis Tomlinson over the years.
The star will then travel to France, the Netherlands, Germany, New York and Los Angeles by early November in what will be a landmark few weeks for the singer.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Rudberg wrote: “I’m finally going on my FIRST EVER TOUR!!! Can’t wait to play all of my new songs for you!!!”
